VVG, VVG-P – power cables with plastic insulation

Technical characteristics

  • • Maximum permissible operating temperature in fixed installation from -50 ºС to +50 ºС;
  • • Relative air humidity at 35° ºС – up to 98%;
  • • Electrical resistance to direct current isolation, estimated for 1 km length and temperature of 20° C with nominal core cross-section:

- Cable for 0.66 and 1 kV voltage -1 and 1.5 mm² minimum 12 Mohm; -4 2.5 mm²-not less than 10 Mohm; 6 mm²-not less than 9 Mohm; 10-240 mm²-not less than 7 Mohm; 
-Cable for 3 kV voltage-not less than 12 Mohm; 

-Cable for 6 kV voltage - not less than 50 Mohm.

  • • Test voltage of alternating current with frequency 50 Hz during 10 minutes is the following: cables for voltage 0.66 kV-3 kV; cables for voltage 1 kV – 3.5 kV; cables for voltage 3 kV – 9.5 kV; cables for voltage 6 kV-15 kV;
  • • Minimum bending radius — not less than tenfold value of the smallest external size for single-core cable — no less than 7.5fold value of the smallest external size for multi-core cable.

    • • Conductive core is made of copper wire MM class first or second flexibility grade;
    • • Cores insulation is made of thermoplastic self- extinguishing flame retardant PVC;
    • • Insulated cores are twisted among themselves;
    • • Sheath is made of UV resistance and flame retardant PVC;
    • • Sheath’s color - black.

    Application

    Cables are designed for external and internal laying, transferring and distribution of electrical power in stationary units for alternating voltage 0,66 кV, 1 кV, 3 кV и 6 кV with 50 Hz frequency.
