KVK - combined cable for video surveillance systems

Technical specifications

• Maximum operating temperature in fixed assembly conditions for cables with PVC sheath ranging from -40°С up to +70°С;

• Maximum operating temperature in fixed assembly conditions for cables with UV-resistance sheath ranging from -40°С up to +80°С;

• Relative air humidity at 35 оC, not greater 98%;

• KVK-P and KVK-Pt cables are UV-resistance;

• Cables are assembled at the temperature not low 10ºС with bending radius not less 10 x overall diameter;

• Nominal maximum DC - resistance conductor at 20°С (Ohm/km) for the following cross-sections: 0,50 mm – not greater 39,6 Оhm; 0,75 mm – not greater 25,5 Ohm;

• Testing voltage (15 minutes DC) between working pair cores – 1000V; between cores for KVK-2 – 4000 V for KVK-3 – 5000V;

• Nominal maximum DC – resistance insulation at 20°С (Ohm/km), not less 1 МOhm;

• Cable factory length is not less 200 m.

Construction of cables for video surveillance:

  • Radio frequency element of cable with 75 Ohm impedance, consisted of single- wired internal copper conductor with normal heat resistance solid PET insulation, and outside conductor, which is a copper wire braiding with 90±5and PVC cover;
  • Paired cores for power with 0.5 mm² or 0.75 mm ²;
  • Cable for video surveillance systems of KVK-V with PVC flame retardant insulation (for internal laying);
  • Cable for video surveillance systems of KVK-P with UV-resistance insulation (for external laying);
  • Cable for video surveillance systems of KVK-Pt with UV-resistance insulation with parallel laid steel galvanized wire rope 1.0 mm diameter (for stringing between pylons and on building’s walls).

 

Application

 

KVK –V(P or Pt) are made to transfer TV signals in video surveillance systems for both power supply and transfer of control signals at the same time.
